Please join with me in celebrating my musical debut with Roger Williams and members of The London Symphony Orchestra. This recording also features Grammy-nominated saxophonist Gerald Albright and Eric Marienthal.
This wonderful production features timeless music—a recipe of jazz and easy listening, conducted by the legendary Johnny Carl, musical director for the Crystal Cathedral Symphony Orchestra. Johnny Carl also served as musical creator for two of the biggest holiday shows in America: “The Glory of Christmas” and “The Glory of Easter.” Jim Moseley
This Grammy-nominated trombonist was one of the founders of the Crystal Cathedral Orchestra, performing with such greats as Henry Mancini, Frank Sinatra, Grover Washington Jr., John Tesh, Della Reese, Amy Grant and Sly & The Family Stone.
His resume also includes performances for three U.S. Presidents, (including President Truman), Sargent Shriver, Eunice Kennedy Shriver, Maria Shriver, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Governor Schwarzenegger, and the King of Ghana, for Panafest, part of the Live 8 concerts and the largest African cultural festival, in an effort to raise money for the impoverished and HIV victims.
But this CD only scrapes the surface of Jim Moseley’s talent depth. Jim is an accomplished singer and dancer- and has recently completed the writing of a musical called “The Pied Piper Meets The Bone Man,” which is a happy ending to the original story, bringing the kids back to Hamelin. Jim is also a Smile Ambassador for Operation Smile, the organization that surgically repairs cleft lips and palettes on those whom were born with this deformity and incorporates the idea of bringing smiles back to the children of Hamelin once they are returned. Carlton Wallace
Jim states “It is so easy to take for granted that I can play the trombone and sing and make notes out of what God has given me and a lot of other fortunate people. The fact that for $250 and a 45 minute operation, you can give a child that opportunity is amazing. I know a surgeon that has given over 5,000 kids new smiles and I hope my music can do the same for everyone that listens.”
“Jim’s sharp technical skill is balanced and accented by his
wonderfully gifted tone. I have shared audiences with both
Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey and Jim is
certainly in their league”- Bob Hope
“What I hope to achieve is to transcend the experience of
performing with Roger Williams and the London
Symphony Orchestra on to you, the listener and may it give
you the same elation it still gives me.”

Thank you so much,

Jim Moseley
